Small in size, but certainly not in style, this law office of Zachariah Eddy was built in 1810 on land that had been in the Eddy family since 1640. It came to Storrowton from Eddyville, in the town of Middleboro, Massachusetts, where Mr. Eddy practiced law from the time of his admission to the Bar in 1806 until his death in 1860. The eagle, a true symbol of America’s freedom, Land Of Law, adorns this sampler design. Clarity and detail are captured here on 26-count natural, unbleached linen portraying the buildings true colors of colonial blue, creams, tan, grey and muted reds. A unique sampler shape adds charm to this piece.
