The State Historical Society of Wisconsin in association with the U.S. Department Of The Interior placed the Cupola House in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1979. This magnificent house richly deserves this designation. Built by Levi Thorp, one of the earliest Door County settlers, the Cupola House is a stately example of Gothic revival style architecture. Door County is the picturesque peninsula that juts slightly over 100 miles into the Great Lake Michigan from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Heart’s Content, Inc. has recreated its image in conforming color on 28-count charcoal green Jobless. Truly a finely detailed Wisconsin tribute featuring a badger, the state animal, and Wisconsin’s state flower, the wild wood violets.
