The first in the SOB series.

"SILKS ON BOARD"..... another new series of silk gauze creations. A wonderful and simple introduction to 40-count silk gauze stitching. Maureen erases your anxieties of stitching on silk gauze. These miniature board creations can be used for paper weights, project weights, or simply whatever suits your needle nest. My husband Dennis and I have again co-created another unique project for your stitching bag. There is a photo of the four different and unique woods that he has crafted these blank boards from, and I of course, have created the fine 1.3" silk stitchery to cleverly mount with twisted cording on the topside of your board (SOB).... "Silks On Board" ! There will be a series of ten designs and four or five different woods. In order of release they are Birdseye Michigan Maple, Walnut, Quarter-sawn Sycamore, and Door County, WI Wild Cherry - from Dennis' numerous cherry orchards, where he was raised, and lived until we married on 11-11-11 !
